| How odd to think that the Men don’t even know there’s this whole little community hiding out right there. The Men always were the loudest and clumsiest, I guess! Author Reply: You're probably right, excluding the darker creatures such as Orcs and Trolls and such. And I suppose Orcs can move stealthily when they're laying a trap, though I haven't thought about that much. | |

| Writing a pre-Shire story was a great idea and it is beautifully done. I like their reluctance to come to terms with anything new and their speech habits, Grand-alf was a touch of genius. But I'm quite lost with regard to the Lady, what/who is she? I thought at first an entwife, but that's wrong, isn't it? Author Reply: No, the elves are on the right track, thinking the Lady is one of the Valar, who were known to take on solid form to walk in Middle-earth. Thanks for the review! | |
