| Oh my god, this is heartbreaking. I'm all in tears and I will read the first 3 chapters again right now. But I won't leave the Shire, and I won't leave my friend shirebound. | Yes, the halflings--HOBBITS--will know peace, or Aragorn will know precisely why not! His heart, too, has been stolen. Other than the fact malaria is spread not by contact but by mosquito bites, this is wonderful. I'll figure this is a bad case of influenza, then. Author Reply: "Quarantined" is so AU, I felt comfortable inventing an AU illness to go along with it. "Swamp Malaise" is an illness all its own, and proves to be a very interesting one! | |

| Wow, a caring passage...I like the part where you had that innocence, so on and so forth. I like this story so far. I am pretty much speechless of what to say, but I enjoyed this chapter.
