| It's an interesting idea of how the poison affected Frodo initially..i usually just think that the poison took seconds to affect him and therefore rendered his mind unconscious immediately. Very creative take on what might've happened with the poison as well.. I think i read in another fic that Frodo's thoughts became trapped and therefore he could hear what was happening yet not respond... that is quite scary to write about hehe... very good job, Arwen! and i don't think flashback is bad =) Author Reply: That's what most people seem to think about the poison, but Tolkien tells us that Frodo heard no more, once Sam's with him and trying to wake him up. He doesn't tell us what happened in Frodo's POV, so that's what I did, same book-scene, different perspective. And I'm glad the flash-back sequence is working. I put the dates at the top of each chapter to clarify confusion, but I was explaining the fic to my mom when it occurred to me, that most people probably can't think in the back-wards mode that I've grown accustomed to! :) It can get VERY confusing. | |
