| Ah, yes, just as I feared! I am a veritable mush puddle. Where is my lace handkerchief? Wonderful job at describing the whole range of ambivalence and conflicting emotions that Elrond faced. I had somewhat feared a too "simplistic" reunion, but you have neatly avoided that pitfall. Excellent. So, when might you be updating this fine story? Do you feel the pressure of your fans' demands? And actually, I do feel pressure to write, but it is a good pressure. I enjoy finally hitting that 'send' button and then eagerly waiting to see what folks think. I'm really glad you liked the reunion scene with Elrond. I had originally intended it to be much shorter, but like you mentioned, it needed more than a simple, 'yep, they're back together now.' | One can never have too many reviews, so although I reviewed this when you posted it on ff.net, I'll review again. This is one of my favourite of your chapters (the best is the most recent one!), and I love the father/son reunion. I loved Elrond's despair as he wondered what had happened to his 'beautiful son', and his delight as he finally gave in to instinct and held Elrohir. Great work.
