| Very good and very long indeed. What a wonderful chapter. Full of intricacies and emotions. I eagerly await your next installment. (P.S. Don't give in to those silly people who want everything to go smoothly from here on out. "Let them just get along and be happy, no more sadness." Ahhh! Tention is the name of the game!) If Life was simple I would just lock up the two for a millenium or two and that would solve everyhing. | It must be hard for Legolas to realize how much of his friends' lives he's missing... I mean, a child is a pretty big event to miss. It must be doubly hard since everyone insists upon calling him "My Lord" and whatnot. I like Istion. He seems to be very sympathetic, and a little more open-minded than most of the other Avari. They really resent the Eldar, don't they?!? Wow. Good chapter, even though it made my head spin with all the puzzles your poor characters are going to have to solve. Author Reply: Poor Legolas - even when I was writing the chapter I would automatically write "my Lord". It had become so instinctive. It must be very sad when your friends first reaction is to be formal with you as well. Istion is young - he has time to imbibe the bitterness of the rest of the Avari. He might not but then again ... I am sorry about your head - I will try not to do that again. Take two aspirins and read the next chapter in the morning (or whenever it is posted). ;) | |

| I am awed by the idea that this is only half of your story. Holy cow, Fan! I feel so bad for these two. They are each caught in their position and cannot even try to love one another without causing problems. Author Reply: LoL - thank you. I am more firghtened by the idea that we have reached about the middle. I really pity Nilmandra who agreed to beta this. Poor thing - I'll never let her go. I feel badly for the couple too, but remember problems that stubborness cause can be fixed by stubborness too. If they want to be together then they will - everyone else should just get out of the way otherwise they will steamroll him/her (or so Fan hopes). | |
