Oh, I like this chapter! Goodness, poor Siovan...how traumatic! The poor guy... //The battle cries echoed in his heart, but they did nothing to cover the laughter of his children that echoed in his mind.// sniff That sentence made me cry. Poor Thranduil; when does all this horror end? And poor Legolas; it must have been terrible to recount those things. My, my. Poor Thalion. And the next chapter's not going to be any better, is it? Nope. That was funny though, with Erestor and the water...especially that last order to him to get hot water going. ;-) Poor Erestor. rambles through entire list of characters...again The sad thing is: they all need it! Thorinell, Thorinell. Poor guy (here we go again). It must be hard watching everyone go sailing...I can't even imagine the depth of emotion it must cause to choose like that, or to stay behind. Ohhh. Legolas (finally) understands! He always thinks he's responsible for everyone and everything that happens. That can't be good for his stress level. ;-) But mine is going up too, because now I'm afraid for Miriwen! (Not to mention everyone else!) I know what boy troubles are like, and I'm too young to really be having them! I keep it inside though; no one ever notices. I was going to LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Depending on where you live and where you go to church, you may or may not have heard of Quizzing. It features Scripture memorization and good-natured competition. It's really, really fun. ;-) This year we're doing Hebrews and 1 and 2 Peter. We already have Hebrews memorized, so it's on to 1 Peter! Far from criticizing you, Faith (is it okay if I call you that?), I highly respect your decision to take a break from writing these stories (even though I'll miss your wonderful writing!). I know what it's like to get a bracing reality check from God...it was about LotR for me, too. I will be praying for you during this time as you draw closer to God and seek His face! But until you quit...more please! (Another chapter-like review!) Author Reply: Holy cow girl! lol. You sure took my word for long reviews;-) But I love 'em trust me. Going through the list again? lol. Poor him and him, and him, and him. lol. Yes, they all need a hug. And yes, even Siovan, though perhaps you won't feel so sorry for him when I'm through with him;-) (Mwahahaha) (cough) Yes, Legolas finally is starting to understand thankfully, but I think Lomion will pound it into his head one more time;-) Just a hint, don't be afraid for Miriwen. It will be a good sort of suffering, trust me;-) Yes, boy troubles. Crushes are especially hard, you think that certain someone is just perfect for you and then.... The bubble pops, lol. LaCrosse Wisconsin ay? I live in Shell Lake Wisconsin. Not too far away. It might be a mere dot on the map, but hey, it's where I live... If you want to find it on a map, look for either Spooner Wi. or Rice Lake Wi. It's somewhere in between there. lol. Wow! Memorized Hebrews! That is really cool:-D Awwww. Thank you so much! Another nicely done chapter, Faith. I am particularly taken with the suffering of Legolas (no surprise there), but you have done his family very vividly too. I will miss your stories while you are on hiatus, but I understand what you mean about trying to drive back the obsessiveness! Author Reply: Thank you... :-) I was rather at a short come of how to continue, wither to start to ease some of Legolas' burden or pile more stuff on. lol. But I think this worked out all the better... You need to lighten the load before you can lose it right? :-D A couple of people have asked why I decided to put his family into the fic, but I wanted to do more than just Legolas you know? I especially love your OC's. And in fact you gave me the idea:-) ;-) ;-P Well, I am certainly glad I will be missed! But hopefully when (if) I come back, my stories will be a little better plotted out... :-) Thanks!
