Someone's in trouble......!!!!! Author Reply: *innocently* Who, Asfaloth? *evil grin* Since by his own admission he is Asfaloth the Agile, he really should have been a little more careful. Oops. :D Thanks for reviewing!

Asfaloth seems to have been a bit more upset at the Bruinen than he was admitting to: he mentions "I saw amid the water white riders upon beautiful white horses with frothing manes" -- yet somehow he fails to mention that these phantom horses are nowhere near as beautiful as *he* is.... How nice to find another Asfaloth story! Author Reply: *grins* Well, you certainly seem to understand Asfaloth's mindset. Being in the presence of the ringwraiths is pretty upsetting though (poor, traumatized Asfaloth ;) ), so he was concentrating more on not shaking like a leaf or bolting. Of course, in a calmer situation, he would have explained his superior qualities quite clearly to everyone in hearing distance. :) Asfaloth's great, isn't he? The horses are the most overlooked characters from the books. There aren't nearly enough stories about the Great Elvish Horse Asfaloth. :)
