| I found this on the Galvalon Awards page. I must say, it is very intriguing. So unlike the Celeborn of the movies. More of a worthy companion for such a powerful woman. The insights shown into his character are compelling. I find myself more in awe of him than before. Thank you for sharing. | |

| I very much enjoyed this, as I do most of your work. It was very interesting as I have never seen this particular meeting written about before. I was mostly on Celeborn's side during the argument but I really did feel sorry for Finarfin when he let his sorrow show. Great work anyway, continue writing! | Hey that was great. i've never seen a fic where Celeborn meets Finarfin before so it was really interesting. Finarfin was a little bit more mean than i would have thought, especially since Celeborn was part of his wife's family, but he probably would have had some issues with his daughter being on ME for so long and would naturally blame her husband for this. It would be great if you could write a sequel to this perhaps with Celeborn meeting Earwen or even the reunion between Finarfin and Galadriel when she first returned. Keep writing. Author Reply: Thank you! I'm glad you found justification enough for Finarfin's slightly harsh behaviour. You see, that's the problem with reading between the lines of Silm and Unfinished Tales. There is so much that either Finarfin or Celeborn would have been directly or indirectly involved with in the ensuing ages of the world - it is tough because it is all assumed. A sequel?? Hmm. I dont really know. Maybe a small piece sometime in the future. ;) I'm glad you liked it. :) | |
