| I just know that trouble is coming because Merry knows it. Now I am worried. It was so sad to read about Pippin thinking of children and this is such a wonderful story. I was glad to find a new chapter, or new to me anyway. Keep it coming as Merry and I are now both worried. Author Reply: Hee hee, sorry, didn't mean to worry you (or Merry). | I like that Merry is so worried about Pippin! Sweet! Lily's present for Diamond was cute! Sad though for Pippin to be thinking about children and knowing if he stays with Diamond it wouldn't be probable, but at least he already knows and it isn't something to come out later, when it coule be more painful for both of them. Looking forward to more, thank you! Author Reply: Yeah, it's been tough to write Pippin thinking about not being able to have children, because it's not a very Pippin thing to think about (and it's just plain depressing for me). But I'm afraid that's only the tip of the angst iceburg for this story. O:) Thank you for the feedback! | |

| "I think our kings, not to mention your Steward, would say that you need to stop this 'cheek' nonsense and give that poor girl a real kiss!" Hear, hear! I completely agree with Merry on that point :P. I loved the little scuffle; it was really cute, teehee! The whole thing about Merry being worried about Pippin, and also disappointed that his cousin is growing (grown) up, is really sweet. I looooove this story! Bah, I almost hope they get caught, just to add more drama into this fic. I'm a stickler for Romeo/Juliet-esque stories, minus the dying, of course. | Oo, a quick update this time. :) I'm happy now. Except for the fact that I now have to wait again. ;) I would have reviewed earlier, only our computer decided that I was supposed to get off-line all of a sudden, and I've only just been able to escape the net of schoolwork long enough to review. :) I loved the scene between Merry and Pippin. True masculinity at its best. :) Women have a much more civilized way of saying how much they mean to each other. ;) I hope Stella's baby is born without complications. You wouldn't dream of killing her in childbirth, would you? I'll hurt you, if you do. :) Also, I enjoyed the scene in the stable. Horses are truly a comfort at times like that. And a spouse probably helps, too, but I wouldn't know. :) Merry and Estella's love was well portrayed, just like in Faint Heart. Pippin trying to go to sleep was cute, too. Lily's such a darling! I hope Diamond likes her rock. :) And let's hope that all those little brown-headed, blue-eyed Tooks are in the epilogue. :) Also, I just found out *why* the computer disconnected me, because it just did it again. Every time someone picks up the phone, the stupid thing disconnects. ~_~ THAT will get aggravating. :) But anyway, great chapter. Author Reply: We'll be seeing some of Estella's labor in Chapter 16 (and rest easy, for she will be in the rest of the story). And I'm very glad you liked the stables scene! | I always love stories about the love and friendship between Merry and Pippin. This was a lovely chapter because of that. I certainly hope Pippin takes Merry's advice and tries for a proper kiss this time! Author Reply: Oh yes, I adore getting into the Merry/Pippin friendship, it's so pure and loving and just fun.
