Wow! Sometimes my life is so busy that I wonder how I find time to live! The description of the land at the beginning is quite well done! It's a vivid picture. ;-) Ohh, poor baby! I guess Lomion does need to pound it into Legolas' head one more time! Hmm...*ponders how in the world something four feet tall can change the future* Who knows...I can't think of anything. ;-) Now, we could get really philosiphical (ahh! Spelling nightmare!) and debate whether or not the future is something that can be "changed" per se, but rather something can be merely "shaped"...but let's not. At times it bugs me when people say that something changed the course of history...sometimes it seems like that doesn't really work. But then, people are always telling me not to read so deeply into things. ;-) Ohh. Ouch. We've got a hurting Elven king on our hands! The wording in those passages really portrays his emotions very well. I had to kind of skim some of those paragraphs...it was painful reading. Well done, but still painful. I recently wrote a fic dealing with a child's innocence, and this really clarifies the point in my mind. The idea of the story was that children shouldn't know that people kill each other out of hate. But (this story was set in Greenwood), when darkness threatens, children have to understand evil in order to survive in an evil world, right? That was the gist. *blushes* Um, anyway, those paraghraphs reminded me of that. That was a bit off the point... ;-) //Thranduil knew exactly what he was doing in front of him.// That was actually kind of funny...I don't know if it was supposed to be, but it really kind of was. Thranduil's anger is so real. The affection is very touching. ;-) *gasps* Oh! Twins?!?!?!?!? *sqeals* How exciting! Hmm...pipeweed, huh? I hope Thalion's getting better, but it sure is hard to tell with you. ;-) *shakes her head* Thorinell, Thorinell. Looking forward to seeing what's going to happen now! Ohh! Poor, poor Legolas! *sob* It just never ends, does it? Yeah! I know what it's like to live in a place that no one's ever heard of before. I live in this tiny place in Minnesota called Circle Pines, and I really have no idea where it is. ;-) A lot's happened since I last reviewed, not least of which is that I managed to fall head over heels for this guy in my youth group...;-) It's not fair though, he's three years older than me! I was at the library, and I step out of the aisle and there, standing at the little automatic check out thing is this guy. I said hi, and we started talking, and all of a sudden I can't say a single coherent thing...oh well. He probably already knows I'm a complete idiot. We both walk out of the library, he walks to his *car* (I'm not even old enough to do *that*!), and I'm just walking down the sidewalk, slapping my forehead, berating myself because I'm not quite as ditzy as that conversation probably made me sound...*blushes* Sorry. Just had to unburden my heart. ;-) More please! (Wow! Record-long review!) Author Reply: Whew!!! Sorry I haven't replied sooner, everytime I try, I get interupted... So here we go again:-) Well... Think of it this way... History is defined by those who have changed the world for better or worse. Take for instance William Bradford. He defied a king, sailed away and changed history as we know it. Without William Bradford and many others, we might instead be French or Spanish. Or George Washington and the others who defied the king. They changed the course of their world, if not we still might be under the English throne. Sure people have shaped the world, but others have changed the world. Some for better some for worse. Frodo changed the evil course of the world but destroying the One Ring and in doing so, the light returned to the land. But... My opinion shouldn't shadow your own;-) Yes, very hurting Elven King... It was extremely painful to write and I found myself rather depressed after that particular chapter. Your story sounds very intreging. (SP?) Do you have it posted somewhere? Because I would like to read it. And it is very true... in order to defeat evil we must understand it and then we can pinpoint it's weaknesses, strengths or anything else. lol... Yes Twins! No... Legolas' torment won't end for a little bit yet... Healing is the hardest... lol.... I've done that before. Make myself look like a complete idiot around a really cute guy... But oh well. I figure I'd just better wait for the Mr. Right.. otherwise there are too many cute guys to choose from;-) Neato... We might live only a few hours away from each other:-) Now I'll have to look up Circle Pines:-) Whew... Record long review and reply me thinkith... :-) But thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

Faith-- You have such a nice sense of your characters. I was particularly struck by the interaction between Legolas and Lomion and by Thranduil's anger over what had been done to his child. "I want to cut off his fingers for touching him" etc. That really rang true. daw Author Reply: Thanks:-)I try anyway;-) I'm glad that you don't think that Thranduil's anger wasn't at all cheesy... I thought I had went to far, but aparently not:-) Thanks for reviewing!

Wow! Very nice. Even though I know he'll be okay, I'm still worried about him. I enjoyed the pipe-weed allergy. Very nice reference to hobbits saving the world. I can't wait for more! Author Reply: Thanks! Still worried? lol, yeah I do tend to rather beat up our favorite elf huh? I'm glad you liked the pipe-weed allergy. I thought it would throw a little humor into some tense situations. Yes, I didn't know how the whole hobbits saving the world would work out, but I think I like it;-) And apparently, so you do;-) Thanks!
