| Darn it - late again! ;-) I like this chapter very much! I am glad that Elrond decided to tell Thranduil what he was doing; we might have been in real trouble if he'd gotten really mad at Elrond! *sigh* Poor Thranduil. Never really gets a chance to be fear-free. In fact, I would imagine that he spends most of the time Legolas is away with Estel pacing! Poor Legolas! My POOR x INFINITY to the 100th power baby! (You realize that this could get out of hand again; eventually I'll end up with infinity to the infinitieth power, and then where will we be? Right where we started, that's where!) ;-) Ack! No recognition! I may resort to threats of cruel and unusual punishment if you keep it that way! (The only problem with that is that I am completely powerless to carry them out; I can't even wack you with my hair! No seriously, I do that to boys who annoy me; my hair is about four feet long. It's about my only source of Elven pride. ;-)) Hmm. Why *does* one need the secrets of an extinct snake? UNLESS, of course, the poison would happen to still be in Legolas, in which case they would have need of such knowledge... That was a nice moment with the knives. (I didn't mean that the *knives* were having a nice moment, I meant that...oh whatever.) On with the next chapter! Author Reply: Elrond finally realized Legolas's father should make the decision. I'm glad he did. It was the right thing to do. Thranduil won't be fear-free for a long time, I'm afraid. As for his pacing when Legolas and Estel are together, you can bet he isn't calm. It's a good thing that they usually end up in Rivendell instead of Mirkwood. I have a feeling that they don't tell Thranduil all that befalls them. He'd probably chain Legolas to a tree, adult or not. No, you can't fulfill any of your threats. You don't know where I live. And, my computer has a firewall. And, I know you won't be vicious in your reviews, will you? :o) Elrond has plans for the snake. That's all I will say. I plan on updating tomorrow (Tuesday). | |

| "At least they were on the road to Rivendell", as you wrote on the last line. More will be welcome, as usual, as always, lol. I know, I keep reading, and you keep writing, as you do/did it very well. I still love what I read. Keep up the great work that you are doing with your story, and please post soon.
