| Last chapter I just thought 'WOW' - but this chapter - 'How sad.' Drat - and now reading your title - with this bit of knowledge - I am concerned. But I will hope for the best. I do so love Morwen Steelsheen and what she must have been... but hope that the Steelsheen was against Rohan's enemies and NOT Thengel.... Cannot continue reading tonight - but am bookmarking this and will continue soon! Author Reply: Well, I've not deviated from canon, just embellished on it (which, given the little commentary in the Appendices, isn't difficult to do!), though you may find some of Morwen's choices challenging. I did write this believing that these people were fully human, capable of great emotional depth and also inherently flawed-- but, at heart, noble and stalwart. I hope that you enjoy the rest of the telling of the tale! | |
