ack!!! falling behind again!!! no, i haven't read Elven Song yet, but I will when I get the chance. It's complete rite? Complete stories are nice cuz you don't have to wait for the author to post, but it's so hard to pry yourself away, especially with authors that end everything in a cliffie. I started reading The Hunting Trip with 30 cahpters already posted and I thought is was done!!! (I was off by about 20 chapters!!!) I found myself reading 4 to 5 chapters at a time and they are NOT short chapters!!! (but during the process we always wanted more) a lot of the capters have a lot of reader responses though =) that's what's great about stories that are in progress, reader responses!! it makes reviewing so much more enjoyable!! =) annnnnnnnnyyyyyywaaaaaaayz!!!!! hehehe...i love the twins!!!!! they're always so funny in every story!!!!! fingers and horses teeth...hehe...Glorfindel still doesn't know how to cook, eh? It would have seems that he could have learned a least a little bit of cooking in Rivendell...oh well, maybe he'll cook up a nice meal for Legolas when he's better!!!!!! hehe...or maybe not, might ruin it for Legolas...sorry Glorfy!!! maybe he'll learn by the time the story's over!!! Aside from all the funny stuff...POOR LEGOLAS!!!!!!!!! Hope we get back to Rivendell soon. Can't stand him being unconcious for so long...argh! love the flashbacks and memories of Legolas' childhood, i always love reading that stuff!! It's so cute!!! Just picturing him as a young elfling!!(I drew a little cartoon of him as an elfling =) ) Well, happy reading with The Hunting Trip!! I'll read Jocelyn's story as soon a I can. Hope Legolas wakes up soon or I might go crazy...POST SOON!!! (Friday would be a good day since i don't have school, so please POST SOON!!!) *~SuGaR~* Author Reply: No, "Elven Song" is not complete. There's one chapter left, but it has been a long time since it was updated. It's a long story, so it may be finished before you get to the current chapter. I think I may write Jocelyn and give her a little push. I love reading stories that are complete, as well, so I can read them whenever I want to. I also like to read stories that are updated quickly. The twins can be very serious, of course, but I like them best, when they are either playing pranks or bickering with each other. I compare Glorfindel's cooking skills with a bad driver, who knows how to drive but isn't very good at it. As long as Glorfindel can get someone else to cook for him, he is happy to leave things the way they are. I adore Legolas as an elfling, especially a very young one. That dream where he catches the blue butterfly for his mother is one of my favorites. There will be at least one more little Legolas dream later on. Are you into art? My mother is an artist. She does watercolors. I am fond of saying that I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. None of us children inherited her talent. I became a writer. No one else in my family does that, either. We are a diverse bunch. I'm updating this afternoon. Is that soon enough?

Okay; round two! Sweet recollection with the warrior braids; and at last we have some understanding! Yeah! Hee hee. MAN, those twins crack me up! (Or is it Elf? *sigh* So much for my Elvish etiquette!) Poor, poor, Glorfindel. "Glorfindel and the Case of the Elusive Cooking Skills". It could be the makings of an intriguing mystery story! Who knows, we just might come up with something! Speaking of elusive though, it says that Glorfindel "just could not figure out how the skill of good cooking had alluded him for so many years." The word "allude" means to hint at something, and the word "elude" means to dodge. I hate words like those. I can seldom remember which is which...*shakes her head* Again, those silly twins. Oh yeah... "Hey! Elladan! Elrohir is White Wolf's favori-" *gets tackled by White Wolf* *gets up again, spitting out dirt, and not the least discouraged* And then a sweet promise of future enjoyment of stars...that was a touching part. I don't think it would really help Legolas much to remain anonymous...though it would be a nice try. Authors would just torture "that cute archer Elf in the Fellowship who doesn't have a name." We'd find some way to do it! ;-) Sindar90 is lucky...I've always wanted to speak Finnish... The thing about Slash (besides the aforementioned) is that it's so stupid! If you take the Slash out of a story, you won't lose a thing! We should elect a National Slash Editor to take all references to Slash out of stories! I've really wanted to read some stories, but if they contain Slash, no way. But it irks me that the story could be wonderful without that perverted stuff, and the storyline wouldn't change one bit. Grr! Keep going! Author Reply: I'm glad you liked the bit about the warrior braids. I liked doing that. As you've no doubt noticed, I like to go back in time now and then and tell about things that happened earlier on. I think it helps flesh out the characters, as well as the story. Sometimes it's more a humorous interlude than to gain any real information. I like that title you came up with for Glorfindel and his poor cooking skills. Very cute. I know the difference between allude and elude. I just wrote the Wrong one. It's the same with effect and affect. I know effect is a noun and affect is a verb. I always have to stop and think which I'm using before I put the right one down. Thanks for mentioning it, though. I like to be corrected, if I've made a boo boo. I can't believe you told Elladan. How mean of you. I had to do some quick repair work, but we are fine now. :oP I must go now. Talk to you after the next chapter.
