| Poor Frodo! Boy, can't I sympathise! I've scarcely closed my eyes this week, simply because I'm restless. In fact, that's why I'm up now, reading. I'm soooo tired, but not nearly as tired as dear Frodo would have been! Very well done! God bless, Galadriel | |

| Arwen, I am just stunned by this. The concept is fascinating and I have to admit, from the introduction I thought you would go for a humor twist. Instead, the sections are written in deadly seriousness and each one grows a little more sorrowful, until the end. Finishing with that song (which never fails to bring tears to my eyes) was inspired. Technically, I am very impressed. Frodo rings true in each section, and his “Sleep, and never wake up” to Sam on Mt. Doom was heart-breaking. The sense of danger and grief grows in each passage, until the inevitable result at the end when Frodo must depart Middle-earth. I am very, very impressed. If you wish another suggestion, I think you should do one like this on poor Frodo not being allowed to eat! In Movieverse, our poor lad rarely gets to actually eat anything - no second breakfast on the road with Strider, he doesn't get his dinner after waking up from his nap on Weathertop, and he doesn't get to eat when the crebain come in Hollin. Poor sweet hobbit! | |

| I know exactly how you feel. My cat has an annoying habit of waking me up in the middle of the night. Every night. An interesting little fic, this was. Maybe you could add Moria or the wolf attack (in Holland, wasn't it?) Author Reply: You mean in "Hollin" right? Not Holland. | |
