| I am most impressed with this story. I am not a chess expert, so cannot somment on the play itself. But this is one of the extremely rare, count-on-the-fingers-of-one-hand stories which have done justice to Arwen, to portray her as the elf she is and not as a glorified human. It captures her essential other-ness amidst the human court in a very striking manner. Besides, the writing itself is fantastic, the flow of time beautifully rendered. This is writing of the hightest level indeed. PS: Loved the reference to Rushdie, one of my favourites | |
