| Very well done! Exciting, and Merry's character shines through, his courage and sense of duty. I had a question: Merry said that his father was the Master, but his grandfather is still living, even though Saradoc has taken over many responsibilities. Has Rory retired completely? Wouldn't he be Master? (Not nitpicking, just trying to sort things out in my head) Author Reply: Saradoc would be acting as Master and doing a lot of the practical work. Outside the Hall I think people would look upon him as Master, not Rory. I see there is a inconsistency between this story and Growing, which actually takes place one year earlier, so I`ll fix it.
