| I love your Sam! He is so sweet and so honest. Tolkien would be very pleased with what you have done with him. Even though he is so much younger than Frodo, he is so much wiser in so many ways. Explains much about their friendship. Thank you for posting this one. | |

| This is so nice! I was afraid it would break my heart, but Frodo's sense of peace permeates the entire story. What a wonderfully practical and calming presence is your Sam! I never thought much about Bilbo's parents, but Sam never forgets a thing or person that needs tending. "...he was a Baggins, truly. He, too, had found peace. With Bilbo he had found peace." Lovely story. | |
