| Oh, I laughed when I saw the title of this chapter! THREE offers (and a possible forth)! How popular am I? Lol, though I think that perhaps Merry's was an alternative motive so that he could go to Estella's party. Fantastic to see that Merimas was given Paladin's blessing. And also great to see that Pippin's okay (nothing more than I bump to the head). Is that bonding scene between Merry and Pippin in any other of your stories? If not, it'd be nice to see it in one *hint, hint*! Lol, perhaps I should just let you finish this one. *Normal* people only work on one story at a time, not three or four like I tend to do :P Author Reply: I enjoyed writing that chapter--I felt you deserved all those offers after what those fellas did to your one and only prospect! I think you and Meriams make a nice couple. Pippin's injury was never meant to be more than a bump on the head--I just needed something to get his attention. Many folks fall off their horses and get right back up, but as I had Pippin unhorsed (unponied) by a tree branch, going at a good clip, well...he was bound to see stars for a while. I don't think that I'm "normal" either--but what *is* normal anyway??? There are lots of folks who work on multiple stories, so you're not an odd one. I'm enjoying your Merry/Estella story right now--and you know (wink,wink)it could be that Merry *does* just want to go to her party! :-) Love has to start somewhere! Unfortunately, I only thought of the bonding scene as I wrote this story. I could make it a one-chapeter/one-scene story, but I'd sure like to see your take on it as well--when you have the time! :-P Thanks for reviewing! Pippinfan | |
