I am glad to have time to catch up on Ariashal. Again, I am amazed that you can get me rooting for the witch-king, although I admit it is Ariashal and the children who truly move me. Ferion is evil, but I think he is also weak - he wouldn't stand up to the tortures and difficulties he inflicts upon others.

I am curious to see where you take this. I have to go back to the beginning to see if you say when this takes place, if Ariashal is alive when the Witch King is driven from the north.

Author Reply: This is set quite early in his reign--Amon Sul still stands, and Rhudaur *is* still Dunedain. But that's about to change. *g*

As for Ferion's ability to handle pain--stay tuned! ;-)
