| Yay! Aragorn...well, sort of :P Very clever how you've worked he and Elrond's sons into the story, especially since they will all one day meet Paladin's son and nephew! I do have one complaint - you didn't write the songs! I wanted to read what they were singing, but I can understand why you might not have wanted to write them. I'm sure you remember my terrible attempt at poetry :P Here's another review to brighten your morning - be a darl and leave me another chapter to brighten my evening ;) Author Reply: Ah...so you *know* Thorongil, eh? It's not always simple working Gandalf, Thorongil, *and* Elrond's sons into a story. I had to go to the appendices for the believability measures; where exactly were they, and what were they doing in 1357 (2957)? I remember your *attempt* at poetry, and I thought it was rather good! It's *my* poetry that leaves much to be desired! :-P If I were talented in the poetry department, then I would do it. If the chapter seems kind of naked for not having it...well, you know the deal! lol.... I'll post it and give you full credit! I still have yet to work in the gifts as Grey Wonderer asked...she's getting credit for that, too! Pearl got to hold "her" little brother so anything can happen! | Hi Pippin Fan, I just discovered this story, and I'm really enjoying it! I love the family dynamics -- cute and mischievous hobbit kids, adults overprotective of both their kids and their elders, tweens using excuses (pepper! that was funny!) to get to know each other better, adults knowing exactly what the tweens are doing... it's all here. And Gandalf, too! Will look forward to the next chapters... Thank you! - Barbara P.S. Instead of 'conveyance', I think you want to use 'convenience', which is a British term for water closet...
