| Another great chapter! I don't know how Hobbits could fear boats...my uncle has a boat and I ride on it whenever I have a chance!It's so much fun! Author Reply: Actually, the hobbits around Buckland are *not* afraid of boats...that is how Frodo's parents died--in a boating accident. And when the hobbits and company leave Lothlorien, Merry tells Celeborn...or was it Galadriel?, but he firmly stated that he was not afraid of boats and could handle one. Yes--I like boats, too! I have a love for the ocean imbedded in my blood... I don't sail anymore, but I love the ocean. Pippinfan | |
