| Of all of these, this one has always been my favorite (I still can't believe I've never reviewed them). I like the idea of the people in the Fellowship spending time together in Rivendell. I love the conflict here--it was so well done. “What little I understood, I will not repeat.” Too funny! And I have always enjoyed the idea that Pippin is only then learning who exaxtly Legolas is. That was a cool idea. I really love this one. | |

| Legolas makes so little of his title I have often wondered how long it took the rest of the fellowship to realise that the Elvenking was in fact his father if they missed Elrond's introduction. Legolas's fears and worries for his father and realm are well described - it must have been a hard decision to make, to go with the fellowship, and not fight against Dol Guldur. | |
