| Elrond definitely proved himself to be ME's greatest healer. And a what a task! Can there be any responsibility more important than successfully bringing new life to full life? My respect goes out to him. And to you, Jay. This was a mystical chapter. You managed to put me there in the middle of a miracle. Fantastic! Author Reply: Poor Elrond panicked at first, but when he pulled himself together, he did perform a miracle. I wonder what would have happened to Elladan if Elrohir had died? | |

| Awww! This is so sweet! I'm glad that Elrohir is okay, and I like the way Elrond saved him. Thank you for a great chapter! Author Reply: I stick to canon when I write, and I couldn't (permanently) kill my favourite twin! It's just as well Elrond is the great healer he is, or things would have turned out differently. | |

| Jay, at least I have never killed him! Glad to see both babies contentedly together, and heaven help anyone who tries to separate them. Elrond's power was shown well. Author Reply: I didn't kill him either! (or at least, not permanently). The bond between the twins is already strong, and the new parents are going to find it a problem at times. It's a good thing Elrond is such a good healer, though. | |

| Whoot! Very nice turn-around there. I've always wanted to see Elrond do something like that... though maybe not to Elrohir! Author Reply: Well, I had to save Elrohir, he's my favourite twin. I doubt if Elrond could perform that sort of healing to anyone other than his own family. | |

| Thank you so much for the update, Jay! Elrond apparently startled even himself! The description of the healing was very impressive. I liked the way the two babies wanted to be together. Author Reply: I decided I couldn't leave things as they were for long. Elrond - cool, collected Elrond - panicked at first, then overreacted, so poor Elrohir was rather blasted with healing energy. Fortunately there were no lasting effects. I have always written the twins as having a very close bond, so this was the way to start it. | |
