| Lovely but rather sad. Any grand-daughter who has has had a close relationship with a special grandfather will find this especially heartwarming. Thank you for a wonderful story. | That was brilliantly written! I really loved it. I had always wondered what would have happened to the Shire after Merry and Pippin had left, there being then no one to remember what had happened. I had always been afraid that the Shire would slip into complacency. Thanks to you and Eowyn, that's not possible! Great story! | This is truly beautiful, sweet and sad, and yet not that sad, as it shows a new generation learning to appreciate the sacrifices of a previous one.
