How sad to miss his shadow? And still healing. One day he would remember Salque and smile, but for now the grief was too near. Being black and blue from practice...I have experienced that many times! One does indeed work harder in the next practice to not relive those particular injuries. Hesin seemed to uplift Legolas' spirits and showed much honor. Perhaps there will be some sort of friendship with Meldon. Author Reply: Legolas not only feels grief for the loss of Salque, but guilt as well so I guess it will be a while before he springs back. Hmm, black and blue from practice. Can't say I've experienced it but I've been sore from workouts at the gym so in a way I can say I've experienced the pain. Hesin is a good guy, but not Meldon, as you no doubt already know.

Uh oh. I'm beginning to suspect *everyone* now. Who's the traitor? Meldon? Hesin? I really don't think it could be Hesin. At least I *hope* it's not. After all, he nearly died protecting Legolas. Sheesh, you've really got me wondering and I think I'm seeing shadows around every corner now. Me thinks this 'walk' to the cottages is not going to be a good thing. :O I loved how you have Leggy's grief making his healing progress slower than normal. It makes it more realistic and of course, the angst factor...heh, heh. Yeah, you know how I feel about *that*! :) Can't wait for the next chappy. ;) Author Reply: You are right, the walk to the cottage is not a good thing. The next chapter is up now and you can see who the traitor is. Yes, I am afraid Legolas is in for some rather nasty things. Hopefully the storyline will work out as I've planned it.
