The Wrong Path  by White Wolf 4 Review(s)

Estel's going to check on Legolas!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what happens there!!!!!!!!!!! Hope Elrond and Glorfindel think of something good, but is anyone ever going to tell Thranduil? Maybe it might not be such a good idea...especially if Legolas tells Estel about Mordraug using him to kill his family...Thranduil probably wouldn't believe it and try to help his son, but that might not put Thranduil into a very good position if worst comes to worst >.< Argh! Can't wait for the next chapter! POST SOON!

Author Reply: At least enough people now know about what Mordraug is doing that someone can come up with a plan that will help Legolas.

I'm still debating about whether to have Thranduil involved again. I can only imagine his reaction this time around. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Things are starting to come to a head! Elrond now knows(and believes) that Mordraug has found a way to possess Legolas, and he is going to use all his wisdom and power to find a way to get rid of Mordraug once and for all!:) Like Elladan and Elrohir, I have faith that Elrond will be able to do it!:D Thanks for updating! Please do so again soon!;)

Author Reply: I think it is apparent that Elrond holds the key. He just needs to come up with the Right plan. But there will be a major bump in the road before that can happen. More soon.

I am really, really glad that everyone who matters believes Legolas. But Legolas must be close to depair.

Author Reply: It is good that others now know what is going on, because Legolas is starting to drown in despair after Mordraug's demonstration of power over him using the flowers.

Poor elf. I liked the way you used a simple (and relatively "mild") act of brutality to drive home the implications this whole situation may have for Legolas. You could have gone for something far more dramatic but the effect would have been less heartbreaking. Very well done!
I hope that Aragorn will be able to offer some sort of assistance...if Legolas is still there when he reaches his room...
Please update soon.

Author Reply: Thank you very much. I was going for just that exact thing. The flowers Legolas loved so much weren't just brought in for that purpose. Since they had already been mentioned very early in the story, I thought it would be a good tie-in to this part. I also thought it would be more distressing to destroy them than for him jump Aragorn, for instance, and try to choke or beat up on him. Subtlety is often much more powerful. It was also something that could be done without others interfering, leaving Legolas alone in his misery.
