| I very much like your having Canohando provide the moral direction in this chapter. The studied weighing of mercy and suitable suitable punishment gave real meat to this chapter. | Wow, get a 'puter-bug and look how much you miss: the death of the King and attempted murder of the orc. I should have known that was coming, but why didn't I think it would? Now the guard needs a guard! Looking forward to more. :D Author Reply: Hi, Breon - Oh, have you been fighting computer bugs too? Arrggh! If I could catch the characters who came up with this "You are infected with Spyware - pay us to make it go away" thing -!!!! Canohando would not approve of what I'd do to them... Ahem. | And there is Canohando, nearly redeemed, becoming more and more elvish as he claims the moon and mercy as his right. He is proof that the twisted can become less so and we choose our fates. I love him as a OC and still your canon characters stay so in character I can hear their voices. Love this story, love your writing Rose Author Reply: Thank you so much, Rose! I'm so glad you love Canohando - and you're right, under Arwen's influence he is becoming more and more elvish - I think this is what he needed, in order to move further into his redemption. And it's very reassuring to hear that the canon characters sound "right" - I was very aprehensive about writing Arwen, Aragorn - especially Legolas! I never tried to write about elves before!
