Hi, again! Early on I told you of my mom's experience in a coma. Sorry I haven't reviewed again since then, but I've been on pins and needles for every chapter! My dad and brother both have beautiful, elaborate canes made for them by my uncle, who was a master woodcraftsman and made canes for every sitting president since the 60's. When I read of Legolas' cane, in my mind's eye I see my dad's cane he uses for "dress" occasions. :-) It's funny: I can relate to much of the story (not to the killer) through various people in my family, one way or another. My dad was in an accident and my brother was born with spina bifida. We've had to deal with withered legs off and on for years. My dad had a severed muscle in his leg from the accident, but only part of the muscle (his calf) was cut. That part didn't quite heal and so it has a dent in it. He was in traction for 100 days, and his muscles did atrophy during that time. But after getting on his feet he built the muscle back. I would think that Legolas, who didn't have severed muscles, would be gaining some muscle mass back, so that maybe soon you can describe him as "thin" or "somewhat frail", but I doubt that he would be emaciated too much longer, even if the powers do weaken him. And I have my suspicians as to why he failed to predict Erin's death... ;-) a couple of possibilities: either he is healing and his powers are beginning to fade and becoming inacurrate, or the brouhaha with all the soldiers around foiled the killer's plans. Or maybe a bit of both. Anyhow, keep the chapters coming!!! Smiles, TieAillin Author Reply: Wow. You just keep surprising me. That is so cool about your uncle making canes. Especially for the presidents! Jeez! Can't say anything like that for my family! :P Anyway, I'm glad that you like the story so far. I can't give you any hints about what's happening with Legolas' vision. You're just going to have to wait and see! Mwa ha ha! *evil laughter* Anyway, Legolas' recovery still is still up in the air. I can't give you any hints for this either. Granted he *should* be gaining more muscle mass and strength back, don't forget he still has those psychic powers draining him of power. Nor can I give you any hints about if they're going to be doing him any more harm in the near future! *insert evil little smiley face here* Well, thanks for the review! Signing out -LAXgirl

Up one street and down another! Back and forth! If the elf doesn't take more care, he's going to kill himself with all this running around...forget the visions! :) Good, good chapter...lots of tension...of course he's precognitive now - seeing the future rather than the past, right? Right? RIGHT? Another cliffie...I tell ya, I hate 'em! (well, sort of...). Good idea to let Legolas see through the eyes of the killer, now he has an idea of the feel of the guy and would recognize any flashes he might get later on...I guess. Poor Gimli...I always love the way he calls Legolas "Elf" with such impatience. It's almost like an endearing nickname now. :) Update soon...I gotta go or would fill a couple of pages reviewing...however, am weak 'cos of this "evil cliffie" *hinthint* Update soon, please? linda (oh yeah, and elf torture...well, I do like the comfort part *grin*) Author Reply: WILD GOOSE CHASE!!!! ha ha ha! Yeah, you just gotta love Gimli. I love that little dwarf! Ha ha! Anyway, thanks for the review. Signing out -LAXgirl
