Ah, lovely chapter...Eowyn finally comes to an understanding about Legolas' gift. I must admit, I was rather peeved at her attitude towards him in earlier chapters...an ex-shieldmaiden and all, I mean, REALLY!!!! Then I thought it was probably an overload of those pregnancy hormones attacking her good sense! :) Anyway their conversation was just right, and after Legolas had sat there convincing himself he was loosing his mind, I could almost feel his relief when she professed to believe in him. It's times like he's going through when his friends are going to have to hold him up...I mean, he's just exhausted! I dearly loved the final scene when Legolas connects with the baby...so very sweet, and a girl, too! :) linda Author Reply: Yes, I kinda felt that Legolas needed to hear from somebody other than Aragorn or Gimli. someone who could kind of give more of an outside person opinion. You know, someone who Legolas wouldn't have expected to get such a reassurance from. Thanks ofr the review! Signing out -LAXgirl

For some reason, my author alerts haven't been working recently so I only found out about the last four chapters when I got an alert for the last one, started reading it and realised that it wasn't making sense ;) The good side was that I got to read them all in quick succession, and saved myself the suspense! The way you described Legolas' visions is brilliant, and getting that insight into the mind of the killer was really interesting, in a very chilling way. I'm always fascinated by people's motivations, and that allowed us to see into his thoughts, without actually having to reveal his identity, or whatever. I was very relieved that Erien was safe, but I don't know if I'll buy Éowyn's explanation: I did think of several others, but none of them really hold water :) The little moment when he discovers the sex of the baby was very cute! I'm glad you put it in. The thing that is worrying me most is the continuous reference to Legolas' weakening state, and the fact that his powers are draining him...don't let him die or anything, will you? :P Looking forward to the next chapter! Elerrína Author Reply: Ha ha! We'll just have to wait and see what the heck was going on with Legoals' vision back there. It'll all make sense soon... And I can't give an hints about what's going on with Legolas progressively getting weaker. That's also for later. ^_^ Well, thanks for the review! Signing out -LAXgirl
