| Oh, this is lovely stuff. I hadn't seen them before, I don't think... so I'm reading them all and reviewing. (grin) I love Gimli's decision that Legolas is a tree carved of stone... (heh heh heh, I think Legolas might like that description better AFTER he's known the Dwarf for a while...) Will we get to see the flip side--a drabble on Legolas's view of Gimli? Author Reply: Ow! A drabble-bunny is nipping at my toes! (Drabble-bunnies aren't as big as plot-bunnies. They can't reach a writer's ankles.) I'm glad you liked my idea of how Gimli would think of Legolas. Perhaps the elf will share his feelings about the dwarf with me one day, and another drabble will be born. :) | |

| A stone tree. That's a great image for Gimli to have of Legolas. Author Reply: I'm glad you liked the image of the stone tree. I couldn't picture Gimli going completely "native" and picturing Legolas as a living tree. But a tree carved out of precious stone? I could see Gimli picturing Legolas like that.
