I really enjoyed this poem of the passing of the Elves, leaving the shores of Middle-Earth to the Undying Lands. You have conveyed much imagery in this poem and I would wish to see some soon...just whenever you update. So far I am in the middle of two "LOTR" fanfictions. One is definately an AU with unicorns, and the other is the thougts of the Fellowship members after "The Lord of the Rings" ends. They have gone their separate ways, following the path they were led to. I hope you like the ideas. I really enjoyed this poem! Thanks. ElvenFairMaiden Author Reply: Thank you for your kind comments! The next poem will be posted in a few days!

That's wonderful. But oh! so poignant! Middle-earth without Elves... it's hard to imagine... Author Reply: Yes, Middle-earth without Elves - to quote Sam, the scene where he and Frodo are watching the Elves walking to the Grey Havens "I don't why. It makes me sad." - and indeed if we were to think of LOTR as a long lost part of the world's history then that means that once the Firstborn walked here, and now they are gone forever, until the unmaking of Arda. And I am so like Sam, I'd really want to see the Elves - to say nothing of hobbits... Anyway, I am rambling - Let me say thanks for your kind review - I hope ypu'll read the others poems in this set!
