This poem was amazing, though quite sad of Arwen's passing and her sacrifice she made to be with her only love, Aragorn, Elessar. You write exsquite poetry for "The Lord of the Rings." Keep it up, I liked them so far, even if I have only skimmed. ElvenFairMaiden Author Reply: Thank you for your very kind comments... I believe this poem was inspired by Hugo Weaving's portrayal of Elrond, especially from the in scene in Return of the King when Elrond has to give up Arwen to Aragorn at the coronation scene -- I don't know about you but Elrond's face in that scene absolutely breaks my heart as you can see his heart in breaking and yet he is trying to hard to smile and appear happy for his daughter's sake... Thanks again and please do keep reading my poems! | |
