That is so sad how Estel wants to find Arathorn. Thanks for putting the links. The photos were beautiful, but you're right, they're not as good as the real thing.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable tale. I doont often see stories dealing with the early lives of Aragorn and the others. I have to admit, I thought of the aurora borealis when I read of the Walls, even before I got to your notes. Well done!

Wow! This was really beautiful, bittersweet! I loved it! Putting up shutters and keeping her room warm really shows how thoughtful Elrond and the other Elves are. Wonderful little detail! I especially liked how Elrond knew of Aragorn's wanderings. You can't get anything past him. *sigh* How I wouldn't love to live in Imladris! Better yet, Mirkwood, right next to Legolas' room! ;) Heh, heh! "I do not know which I fear more, his remembrance or his forgetfulness," she whispered. This is a very powerful line! Captured the moment so perfectly. And Elrond's lack of response was very appropriate. Deep sorrow such as the loss of a loved one is often very hard to talk about. Sometimes, the best thing you can offer someone is simply your presence. :) Again, great story! :)
