This chapter is correlated with the book somehow, on how Frodo let Saruman go. A nice touch! I'm curious on how things turn out to be though. Might the ex wizard also be killed in the end?

Great chapter. I love the relationships between all the hobbits. Poor Elrond surronded by stubborn patients.

I've been really enjoying this. I love Frodo's insistence on getting his clothes, as if he was strong enough to make an escape from his bed even if he was fully dressed! He really is such a gentle, forgiving soul to be able to set Saruman free after the harm that was done to him and his loved ones.

Whew! As I was reading--and loving each line--I was thinking that this would be the last chapter! What can I say? I love my Pippin and Merry--and of course, all of my little hobbits! Thanks for another wonderful chapter! Pippinfan p.s. I won't say that I'll see you in chapter "8" again! :-o

Frodo is awfully coniving, isn't he? And stubborn to boot. Poor Hobbit can't even lift himself up and he's wanting to walk around on his own. And even though he never said that, we all know that's why he wants his clothes. I love how you can combine the fluffiest of fluff with serious plot points. It seems to make the chapters somehow more enjoyable. If I had to hazard a guess as to why, I would have to say that it balances out the chapters, somehow making them easier to read and more enjoyable. Does that make any sense? Oh, and I love the last image you leave us with, of Frodo, Pippin, and Elladan all sleeping in a row. Kinda like a Hobbitpile, but not. And I know that didn't make any sense. :) Wonderful chapter, once again. :)

There really seems to be something quite elf-like about hobbits - maybe like humans and gorillas, there is a common origin. I look forward to more of this.

I never thought of Merry's dreams like that. Interesting. I wish Elrond, Celeborn, Gandalf and all the other healers the best of luck when it comes to trying to keep Pippin in bed.

“I’ll tell you in exchange for some clothes,” Frodo persisted. “How about it?” Another review for you on this one, just because I enjoy it so much! I just have to say how much I love this line. It just crackles with hobbity fun and Frodo-ness -- he can hardly sit up but still wants his clothes! And, on the subject of clothes . . . I love a woozy Frodo as much as the next fic reader, but I don't entirely agree with the constantly-changing-nightshirt aspect. Seems to me that, what with the, er, very basic laundry services available, most sick hobbits would be in their skin, or maybe just in their drawers, while sick in bed. All this changing of nightshirts seems like a lot of unnecessary activity . . . I know it's kind of fun for us, but really, isn't bare skin fun too? Anyway, thanks for the awesome read, and I hope you keep it up for another 20 chapters or so! I am just loving being back with all my LOTR friends!
