| Ah, wasn't this lovely! *sigh* I loved how gentle and tender Thranduil was when he held his son. As if Legolas were a piece of fragile glass. And the way you described his awakening was just superb! The transition from his Elfling memories to reality was heartbreaking and touching at the same time. Gimli and Thranduil actually had something in common, anger at the ones who did this to Legolas. It was nice to see them brought together by their love for Legolas. And speaking of love, I really loved how you had both Thranduil and Gimli holding on to and comforting Legolas at the end of this chapter. :) Serai is such a sweet girl. Elladan and Elrohir sure made a lasting impression on her. She is enamoured by all Elves. :) I'm glad they will be taking care of her and seeing to her needs. That poor child deserves some rest and a life without hurt! Can't wait till the next chappy! :) | |
