| I love the reference to the cairn on which Gandalf left his message after he was attacked on Weathertop. A good way to leave messages. And Amdir is obviously learning to accommodate to circumstances and the company that the Elves find themselves among. Author Reply: This story was one of the most canonical ones I've ever written. I had to keep checking the time frame and looking up what Tolkien might have written about any part of Middle-earth. I don't know how he kept track of his own story. | |
