| why are people amazed that crusty old gandalf knows a thing or two about entertaining little ones... until my nose hose days all i had to do was get down on the floor with one and he/she would show me for hours. the nose hose slows things down abit. |

| You write such a wonderful, charming Gandalf. It's as close to cannon as I've seen (well, his good side) you do that with most of the cannon characters as well, I've noticied. It takes a very good writer to do that, and I enjoy reading your stories because of it. |

| "bilbo, nobody's fool, was cleaning the scratches as fast as he could before Pippin rallied", haha! i loved this story, it was very sweet and showed a different side to Gandalf, whilst Pippin made a very funny and lovable five-year-old. good writing! |

Baylor, this has always been one of my favorites of yours. I just love how it illustrates the relationship between Pippin and Gandalf. A very good tale. |
