WHAT? What in the name of the Valar is going on? More is needed here. I still love what I read. Keep up th PERFECT work that you are doind with your fic. It was amazing to see Legolas and Elrond fight side by side like that! I almost yelled cheering them on, LOL. But why ever would Legolas not want to return? Is he afraid of being paralyzed? Or does he believe the others won´t acceot his actions? Poor elf, I hope he´ll see reason soon! Or maybe he literally CANNOT return - that would be terrible... Alina Author Reply: Elrond and Legolas do make a good team, don't they? Legolas is very afraid of being paralyzed. He mistakenly thinks his life would be useless. I can't say just yet, if he is able to return or not. :o)

Oooh! What a frustrating end to a very exciting chapter!!!!;) I know why Legolas doesn't want to go back! It is because he thinks he is paralyzed, and he doesn't want to live the rest of his life helpless. But he isn't really paralyzed, is he???:) Please say that he isn't!!!!! Author Reply: Yes, indeed, that nasty Avari is gone. A happy dance seems in order. Don't give yourself a headache. Legolas does fear paralysis. He erroneously thinks his life will be useless, if he doesn't gain back the movement of his body. More soon.

Yea Elrond!! Big mistake to mess with him. Awesome punishment for Mordraug - very creative. Also loved the description of Vilya's power and how it is used. Looking forward to the next update and finding if Legolas goes back or not.... Author Reply: I agree that Elrond is no one to mess with, especially when he has a certain ring in his possession. I'm glad you liked what I did with Vilya. :You will indeed find out Legolas's decision in the next chapter, coming soon.

GOOD CHAPTER!!! I'm glad that Mordraug is forever in a dark never ending tunnel. I wouldn't want to be in his position. I thought everything would be ok. Legolas has to go back! Right? ah... update soon. -sofia Author Reply: Thank you. I'm glad you are pleased with Mordraug's punishment. I would not like to be in his boots, that's for sure. You should know by now. Things aren't always going to be okay. :o) You can cheer him on about returning with Elrond. I think we'd all like to see Legolas go back. But, will he?

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! is speechless The way you eventually dealt with Mordraug was very imaginative...I was completely fascinated the entire time... applauds I like the panic, affection, terror, and retribution in this chapter. glares I thought you were wrapping things up, and then you do that...WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? My POOR x 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 to the power of 9,999,999,999,999,999,999!!!!!!!! sniff Why won't he come back?!? UPDATE SOON!! Author Reply: Thank you so much. The one thing I didn't want to do was just banish Mordraug into oblivion. I wanted him to suffer some kind of punishment for as long as his spirit existed. I'm glad you like the various emotions in this chapter. They were fun to write. Winding things up? Oh no, not yet. The road stretches onward, for a while, at least. Legolas doesn't think he can face paralysis. There. I bet you weren't expecting me to answer that question, were you? :o) More soon.

I was very interested in how you showed the power of Vilya. It's difficult to imagine how such magic would look, but you do a nice job. The swirling lights were beautiful as well as powerful. So is it the fear of paralysis that makes Legolas unable to go back? Author Reply: To be honest, when I started to contemplate Elrond using Vilya to confront Mordraug, I was also interested to know how I was going to show it. I'm glad you like what I finally came up with. You saw it just as I imagined it. I hope you also liked Mordraug's punishment. I thought it most fitting, but then I'm slightly prejudiced. I don't think I'd be giving away any plot twist by saying that Legolas does fear to return to what he perceives as a useless life.
