The Falcon: The Adventures of Peregrin Took  by Tom Fairbairn 2 Review(s)

I loved how you had Frodo come to Pip in a dream! And then in true Gandalf fashion refuse to answer his question! LOL!

Another great chapter, I could see the army and the mumakils! Amazing!

"Nay," said Obed. "Regret not the courage of a heart that's true, fool though it be." He looked past Poclis and smiled. "Behold, now comes such a heart."

The perfect description of Pippin! I am so glad they arrived in time so that Poclis was not killed in the battle. I love the mystic side of this chapter. Pippin's dream and the true meaning of Leah's name. Lots of lovely connections to the Shire, Mery/Merry and Pippin's wish to make Gandalf proud of him amid his self-doubts. It was very fitting that Frodo would not chose for Pippin, but supported him and was proud of him. Can't wait for more.

Author Reply: Frodo is Pippin's hero. And what Pip needed to hear, only Frodo, if not Gandalf, could say with authority.
