| I'm starting this one over. I don't think I finished it last time, but that was when I was in constant technical difficulties with computers going bad for months. | Gandalf and Balin are coming to visit? Let's hope Gandalf does not mark the door again. A very nice introductory chapter to perk the interest up. Onward, to chapter two! Author Reply: Yes. This story was inspired by two things, one, my idea that Bilbo had a special guest room built for Gandalf, and two, the notion which came up in a discussion forum that something Frodo said in Moria indicated that he had met Balin. Since the year he settled Moria coincided with the year Bilbo adopted Frodo, I used that as a jumping off point. | |
