| Great chapter, much angst! I hope that most of these are ideas that Saruman planted. It would be horrible if Faramir had always carried such thoughts in the back of his mind. It was mentioned earlier that Aragorn knew Faramir's "family history," so hopefully he will be merciful and attribute the attack to insanity. Though I'm not sure how much clemency that would purchase in a medieval society... |
