I liked her remark to the mirror; it sounds like Dernhelm was always there, lurking below the surface. Obviously, Grima's efforts to reintegrate himself into polite society have been less than successful. Faramir's exchange with the old veteran, now innkeeper, was well-done. I liked the wording of his oath to kill Grima, but I am not sure it was such a wise thing to say--now Grima has good incentive to go back to Saruman. |
