| woops, accidently clicked post before i was ready. Told you my mind was foggy today. This bit is so good. . So sad and real! Pain shot through Pippin’s heart. Best not to think of Gandalf right now. The pain and discomfort and all, so well done. I think it is giving ME a headache! (wink).((actually, that is just a sinus thing the kids passed on to me)) Great chapter! Will I ever get caught up!?! | |

| "Not . . . mad. Blessed. Blessed . . . Took." Her eyes closed and he wept onto her shoulder. Fantastic! cool! I love how this whole fairy thing is pulling together. Okay off to read the rest of this chapter. . . Esme’s surge of anger and pain on her son’s behalf nearly exposed her presence to Pippin. Oh poor poor esme!! To have to watch her son go through such torment. If twere me, i don't think i could ever wake up.! | |

| They ran. Pippin shut his mind down as well as he could. There was nothing but pain and running. - PT This is so heartwrenching! So captivating... Another brilliant chapter, Pearl! You describe so well the pain, suffering and emotions of your characters--especially Pippin and Merry's captivity with the Uruks. | This is an *amazing* description of the pain and torment Pippin and Merry went through with the Orcs. (The movie really minimized the whole experience too much, I thought.) Really amazing, Pearl. | |
