Unless Eomer and Faramir have had an unrecorded adventure together; they would not yet be 'brothers in arms' since at this point they had never fought together.
Good idea of bonding Eomer and Faramir through travels and tavern visits. However, Faramir is depicted as more of a drunken schoolboy here. Even drunk, Faramir is at least 36 years old and the Steward of Gondor; he would not throw balls of flour at the Steward's chair and especially not at his King's throne. |
