Wow!! I love a bitchy Elf-lady! Shelob.....teehee....... Author Reply: Naughty elves carping about Legolas's naneth-in-law! I expect she's only worried about her daughter. And - well - she is a bit difficult. Although, in comparison to her husband she's a pushover!

Ouchy. bitchy elf men. What fun. Thanks again Rose Author Reply: And they think only women are bitchy! They are just as bad, but call it wit -or outspoken honesty. I think the mother-in-law was doing quite well to stand up to them - can't have been fun for her! Only great love of her daughter can have stopped her walking out.

Awww, lovely. But fish and broccoli - just reminded me why I never want to be pregnant ever again. LOL Isn't Leggy a sweetie. Even able to talk round the mil from somewhere close to a hot place. loved it as usual Rose Author Reply: I'm rather hopeful that they might be able to look on each other as . . I was going to say human beings, if you get what I mean, rather than 'daughter-stealing, orc-killing, Sindarin son of a marred land and a difficult father' and 'mean-spirited, over-protective, stiff-necked, arrogant Noldor'. They might even find they have something in common. Even three things in common.

Oh poor Legolas! In-laws in the house for such an extended period. He should quote the old saying: "Fish and relatives start to smell after three days." I enjoyed the picture of Galadriel, Thranduil, and Elerrina's Naneth snorting fire at one another, although I am happy to be doing it from what Legolas would call "a safe distance." Author Reply: Not easy for him - but no worse than poor Alfirin and Celuwen having to live with Thranduil! Or come to that Elerrina living with Thranduil. It's not as if Legolas has a naneth to support the poor pregnant elf! (Few targets are as easy as the mother-in-law!) I'm beginning to see Galadriel and Thranduil as enjoying their endless contest - they will never make it up because it's too much fun fighting.
