*happy sigh* from sad memories to a happy future. What a nice turn for Eomer. And oh, my how you have captured him here. A true man. A lovely story, Eokat. I've spent the morning reading (and in some cases re-reading) most of your stories (as you'll soon find out) ;) And each one has been enjoyable. You capture the language and moods so well, and the emotions of each character is so unique. Well done.

Nice move from the dead Theodred to the child soon to be born, Eokat. Eomer lost a lot when he was really very young, but he wound up with much to give him happiness. Author Reply: Thank you Daw, I always feel that Eomer and Theodred had a very close relationship, and the love in his marriage was his saviour. Eokat.

That was beautiful, Eokat! Truly marvelous! I love how you've shown us Eomer's thoughts and feelings about the past, present, and future. He's such an outstanding man, is he not? One I wish I was even half like. Also, the more earthy elements of Rohirric lifestyle were done appropriately and in good taste. It's part of the charm of their people, I suppose, among many other things. Heaven help me, if I could have any wish granted, it would be to dwell in the Riddermark! Again, wonderful, wonderful story! :) Author Reply: Thank you, Eomer. This was a sudden plot bunny that came to mind and I HAD to write it. I heartily agree with you, Eomer IS an oustanding man, and no disrespect to my own husband but I too would wish to be Rohirric born!! Thanks again. Eokat.
