| He felt the chill again, this time clutching at his chest, making it difficult to breathe. He turned slightly and looked into the darkened smial. There was something in there. Loved this part! I had no idea that the ring would be involved in all of this. More suspense and more mystery and now I have to read a bit more before bedtime. Author Reply: Oh, the Ring is very much a part of all this. I consider it a major background character, if that makes sense. | |
