| I *love* sestinas, and have tried my hand at one or two, so I know how difficult they can be. This one was beautiful, never losing the sense of the words just for the sake of the word order, and perfectly setting out the mood of sadness and inevitability over Boromir's fate. Author Reply: Thanks so much for your kind feedback. This is the only sestina I've managed so far, and I did find it to be a difficult form (but a lot of fun to try). | |
