Can I hope you don't actually plan to kill poor Legolas? If he is actually 'mortally' wounded, I might just have to stop reading! Author Reply: *Gasps* I so cannot believe it!!! I love your Reflections from the Paradise of Elves and am thrillled that you took the time to read and review! Thanks!!! He 'was' mortally wounded, but no he will not die. You could actually say a near mortal wound, because it almost killed him.. But don't worry I won't kill our prince:-D

Wait... Is Legolas dying of a mortal wound? I thought I read that somewhere? This isn't going to have a character death is there? I hope not. I HATE character death stories, though I don't think yours'll be what with the slowly rebuilding relationship between Legolas and Thranduil. You know, stories where Thranduil is distant and cold to his children always seem to hurt my poor little heart no matter what the content of the story is. It just kills me. That's why I'm liking this story so far. There's hope for reconciliation between the two. I sure hopw you update soon. The only other thing I have to ask or comment on is how Legolas became injured for the basis of this story. It seemed rather abrupt of a story set up with not much background for it. I'm not saying it's bad, it just... needs to be developed a little bit more for readers to get a good feel of the story setting. Anyway, cool stuff all around. Hope to see an update soon. Maybe once Legolas and Thranduil make up, Legolas will finally start to heal. All that grief and self-resentment he's held for himself all these years and thoughts of dislove and blame from his father have been slowly poisoning him. He needs to make up. Update soon. I'll be keeping a look out for it! Signing out -LAXgirl Author Reply: Am still shocked over the fact that you reviewed me! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my little fic:-) No Legolas is not dying of a mortal wound, he recieved one and was close to death but will not die. I hate character death stories as well;-) I know what you mean... I like both the Thranduil is cold to his children and Thranduil is warm to his children stories... :-P I had a chapter written but now I find that I can easily incorporate some more in;-) I still cannot believe you read and reviewed me! I love your stories and hope that someday I will be able to write like you can:-D You are exactly right about the grief and self-resentment, I find that I am like that, never speaking about what is inside of me until I am about to burst with it and then it comes out in a huge flood that leaves me emotionally drained:-) Thanks for reading a reviewing again!

Oh, how heartwrenching! I'm sooooo glad that Legolas finally got that all out to his Ada and Thranduil is being so caring. When Legolas wakes up he NEEDS to tell him he WASN'T an accident! He'll heal now, right? You're telling this story so well, I'm impressed. Please do continue to write more? *hopeful look* Author Reply: Yes indeed:-) Thank you so much for that little tidbit of information! I knew I had forgotten something! Thank you (blushes modestly) I already have several more fics in process after this one is finished... So many ideas! I don't really know where to start:-) Thanks for the review~

Very angsty, Faith! I think Faramir might indeed be the one to understand Legolas's pain. I'm glad Thrnaduil is so understanding. Author Reply: Yeah I know... After I wrote it I had to go back and actually tone it down quite a bit.. I was in such a terrible mood that day, I wanted so bad to cry so I wrote that chapter, reread it and sat down and had a good cry:-) I have always liked Faramir and have wanted to incorporate him somehow and after reading the script for ROTK I knew I had the perfect moment... Yeah, it's crazy at times how understanding our Ada's can be after so much:-S
