| But when... when shall it be continued? Oh. Pardon, that's not very polite, to whine for more before I've told you how much I enjoy your story -- which I do, very much. I giggled over the Sam-o-mir for days, and I'm looking forward to the continuing story. I like your characterizations, and am delighted by the environments you've created. Very well done. In particular, I love Frodo's early efforts at telling stories. Your Bilbo is spot-on too, and not just a background prop, which is a delightful change from one or two of the stories from various other authors. Now? All right. | Another wonderful chapter! I loved Frodo's memory of his father teaching him to swim. Poor lad, it seems this visit to Brandy Hall is summoning up all sorts of memories and feelings he'd rather forget. I hope Bilbo is able to help him 'deal with the past' before too long. | It took a while, but I got through all 38 chapters! I liked this last one with the flashback. It was cute, and also sad too. I hope you post a new chapter soon! This is quite a story! | Frodo didn't need to ask this time if Drogo would hold on. Slowly he sank down again, took a deep breath and pinched his nose shut. His chin, mouth, and ears went under, and then Frodo leaned back in his father's arms. His nose was underwater, and then his eyes. He had forgotten to close his eyes! But it was all right; the water didn't hurt. Frodo looked up at his father in wonder, through a thin layer of clear water. He saw Drogo's face register surprise when he realized Frodo's eyes were still open, then he smiled widely. Frodo smiled too. Oh, my. This is a little spooky. Knowing what we know about the future . . . I'm a little worried. Something bad is going to happen! I will have to cover my eyes as I read. It might be too scary for me. Seriously, though, I just love living in this world. This story just continues to get better. Please bring it on in bundles . . . fun, action, angst, comfort, fluff, hobbits galore! I can't wait!
